Daisy is such a wonderful horse, she continues to improve daily. She has been released for adoption because she is improving so wonderfully. She is up to date on vaccination and deworming. She has been staying out in the pasture except to come in for breakfast and dinner. She stands perfect for the farrier and loves to go for rides in the trailer. We are unsure if she is broke to ride. She would make a lovely companion!

Daisy keeps improving daily! She loves to go out side and mingle with the other horses. She now gets to go out with our "Calm" group of horses. They love her and are upset when she leaves them at night to go back to her stall. Daisy gets along very well with everyone. She has become rather demanding around feed time, she KNOWS she gets her grain! She has developed a nasty habit of pawing at her gate... She has been through a rigorous deworming cycle and has been vaccinated. Just a couple more months and Daisy should be ready to find her forever home!!!!

Daisy is doing AWESOME! She is a spunky gal, she is so full of life and she loves EVERYONE! Daisy went to our Rescue Round Up on June 16th, she was a fabulous model. She was a delight to have and she enjoyed the trip to the fairgrounds.

Daisy is so much fun to have around the farm. She gets free range of the farm in the afternoons. We let her out of her stall and she goes out of the front of the barn and hangs out in the front yard or out in the front pasture (since we leave it open for her).

Daisy is making slow progress.  She has gained some much needed weight and starting to show some personality!  We are keeping her indoors due to the heat and letting her out for some evening hours of grazing.  We are hoping that Daisy's age (approx 8 years) is what is keeping her going.  She is such a great little girl, who deserves better than what she has seen.

We can not thank you enough for your donations towards Daisy's care.  Daisy is showing slight signs of improvement, but we are still taking it day by day.

This horse came into the rescue hypothermic and needing attention NOW.  Thanks to Animal Control for knowing that this horse deserved more, much more.  Daisy is rated a 0.5 - 1 on the Henneke Scale and right now only has a 50/50 chance of recovery.  She is showing signs of knowing she is safe, please keep her in your prayers.

Indiana Horse Rescue has trained many Animal Control Officers (including the one who investigated Daisy) and they know.  They know what the law means and know what can be done to ensure horses get the care they need and deserve.

Indiana Horse has never charged any County for caring for seized horses.  Please help us continue our work for the horses.  Without your donations, we would not be able to continue this service at no cost.

Make a tax deductible donation to help continue this service at no cost!

All work is done on a volunteer basis - there are no paid employees!
