This horse came into the rescue hypothermic and needing attention NOW. Thanks to Animal Control for knowing that this horse deserved more, much more. Daisy is rated a 0.5 - 1 on the Henneke Scale and right now only has a 50/50 chance of recovery. She is showing signs of knowing she is safe, please keep her in your prayers. Indiana Horse Rescue has trained many Animal Control Officers (including the one who investigated Daisy) and they know. They know what the law means and know what can be done to ensure horses get the care they need and deserve. Indiana Horse has never charged any County for caring for seized horses.
