It is with much sorrow that we announce Apache was humanely euthanized on 1/22/04.
After 8 days of critical care, we could no longer subject him to the pain and discomfort
of attempting to reverse his conditions.
This is the perfect example of poor farrier care & inhumane treatment causing the death
of an otherwise viable horse. While in our care, we found Apache to be of definable
personality and supreme will, which we believe is what kept him going. We want to thank those of you that made monetary donations and sent prayers and letters
of encouragement.
