Indiana Horse Rescue Rocky Road This boy wasn't here long enough to get pictures!! Thanks to his new adoptive family they got some great pictures of him, which we will get scanned in and on the net quickly!! Rocky sent us this letter on 7/27/05: Dear Indiana Horse Rescue Friends, Thank you for letting me have Vern as my owner. He says he has been bitten by the "horse bug." I get kisses and hugs daily and listen for his truck in the evenings. I got my first bath this last weekend when the weather was so hot and am having my feet trimmed again this Wednesday, they grow so fast. Vern, (my dad) brushes me every night and gives me my senior grain and then we go out with my little brother, Black, who is a Tennessee Walker and eat in the grassy field. We have not been riding much lately, it has been so hot. Sometimes we ride through the hay field and woods. We should be taking our first riding lesson this weekend. Dad and I will be riding with the Hoosier Ladies Aside group as an escort for the ladies when they do re-enactments. He is even talking about taking me to the Curly show in Winamac next March. We are enclosing pictures of me at Margaret's place and with my dad, he says I look like Batman with my fly mask on. Thanks again and please come out and see me if you have time. Sincerely, Rocky These are the types of letters we LOVE to get!!!
