Silverado

6/20/05
Silverado is one of our Comstock Horses/mustangs.  He was gelded on 6/16/05 and started on his halter training and trust immediately.  He was started under saddle on 6/19/05.  WOW!  If you could see these horses from coming in and the route to being started under saddle - you would be ready to adopt!  These horses are AMAZING!!!  Who would believe that Silverado was the herd boss (in his herd of 9 stud colts) and never even bucked when a saddle was placed on his back.  He had one of our younger volunteers on his back the same day and still trusted and did whatever he was asked.  These horses are not what you expect when you see them started in their training.  No wonder so many were adopted out over the weekend!!
