Apache
6/5/05
I just wanted to give you an update on Apache (we call him Cinder). He has been with us a little over a week and he is everything you said, and more. He has been hauled, clipped, had his feet trimmed, bathed, sprayed and ridden almost everyday by 6 and 9 year old girls and has been nothing but a gentleman. Best of all, the bone chip doesn't seem to be bothering him at all.
Please be assured that he is being well loved and cherished. Thank you again,
Kathryn, for bringing him to our attention. You were right on target!! I have pictures that I will send along, soon.
Keep up your wonderful work.
Thanks Karen - this is what we love to hear!!!

Karen has been waiting for the right horse! She watched and waited.
Apache is everything and more. This boy will have a lifetime of love and
lots of spoiling!!
We will look for lots of updates!!

Apache came to us as he can not be ridden like most horses. He had a bone
chip on his fetlock although the bone chip was never found in x-rays. He
can be lightly ridden at this time and we will see what else we can find
out. Apache's owners knew he would have to have a special home where
they knew his limitations so they brought him to the rescue. He is very well mannered and
has been well
cared for. We look forward to working with him to see what he
knows. Watch for updates!
