Our beloved Bally crossed the rainbow. She did not suffer, and had two really good months after her feet were healed. She was a very loving, trusting girl who loved it when I would sneak to her extra carrots. She always had the need to feel special, so I made sure that she was special.
I think Bally truly knew we loved her when had to treat her feet daily, twice a day for the abscesses. We earned her trust early on. She was always a dream for the farrier. She was meek, mild, and gentle, was never hostile toward other horses or people.
She did not get to stay with us long, but like her buddy Britches, will always have a special place in our heart.

This girl is special! She has never been
raced, has been used as a broodmare and we have been told she has never been
ridden. While she appears to be a sweetheart we will work with her to find
out more about her.
