This wonderful lady will be leaving shortly after Christmas, her new family will
be getting the farm ready for her arrival. Phoenix will have a Saddlebred
friend that has also lost an eye. We look forward to hearing great updates
about her from her new home.

While Phoenix is not for just anyone, she really appreciates the time Tony gives
her. She has taken quite a liking to him (below) as you can see. She
is so very smart, it will take the right match for her. It is not just
experience you need, it is that special bond that certain horses require.
You'll know....

Tony takes some time to work with Phoenix. This "scary" little
girl is great! While she does need lots of work it should be no problem
for the right person. You can definitely see the Saddlebred in the picture
on the right!

This lady is so smart!! She will try to see if she can scare you - and if
she does, she repeats whatever she did to everyone else!! What a
mover! This lady is not yet started under saddle. Gotta get updated pictures!!! - no snow here now!!
3/30/04
She has been indoors due to getting an upper respiratory infection and losing
some weight, but she is healthy and on her way to getting fat again! She
is loving being outdoors again! Boy you should have seen her move!
She is a beauty! Hopefully we will have new pictures up soon!

Tony was on her back over the weekend - she was very alert but stood very
still! This little girl will be a super one to train! Don't wait too
long - she is a winner!
12/6/03
As you can see by the bottom picture, Phoenix lost
an eye. She is very well adjusted since it happened when she was just a
yearling. She has been handled and "spoiled" rotten thanks to
the love her mama gave her. We will be working with her over the next few
weeks to see what all she knows.
12/4/03
A 6 yrs old Saddlebred and wow! She has
definitely been blessed! Phoenix has come
to the rescue, so we could find her a super home, her owner has done everything
but train her for riding! She has been loved all of her life and it has
been very hard for her owner to give her up, fortunately we were here for her so she
knows her babies will not end up on a dinner plate. We will be updating her info soon!
